The Street Feeding Program is not always easy or safe.  I have had experiences where I have been cursed and even attacked by individuals who had a problem with the stray and abandon cats/dogs being fed.  They also see us as one of the problems since feeding the animals keeps them alive, If the animals are not fed they will either leave the area or as I was told get bound down or die from starvation.

I am against feeding cats/dogs on the bare road since it is not healthy for them. I use to walk with disposable plates and bowls to feed the stray and abandon cats/dogs, but sometimes you cannot even stop the car to drop off the food. Unfortunately sometimes you have to feed the cats / dogs on the bare road so that you do not leave traces that you were even there. It is especially harder in residential areas.
